Membership in UAAM is open to male college students who demonstrate perseverance, drive, and a commitment to the upliftment of Black people. Members should be willing to make personal sacrifices for the organization and the community.
I am a Black Man. I am the original man. I come from greatness and I shall never forget. I must protect and respect the Black woman, for she is the creator of life. Education is knowing thyself, and knowing thyself is enlightenment.
Members are expected to live out this creed in how they carry themselves on and off campus.
